Majse Jarlov

Majse Jarlov primarily advises on procurement law and construction law issues in connection with tenders for construction projects. Majse Jarlov has more than 20 years of specialist experience advising about all types of procurement law issues on behalf of Danish and foreign tenderers, contractors and technical advisers.

Assisting clients across the industry, Majse Jarlov is experienced in working with multiple players on a construction project, including providing legal and practical advice in the cross field between the clients and their technical advisers.

Majse Jarlov has extensive experience in organising procurement processes/strategies and preparing procurement documents including a structure for a requirements specification, evaluation model and contractual basis during tenders for, for instance, construction projects.

On behalf of tenderers, Majse Jarlov often acts as project manager and also as lead manager in the preparation of the qualitative descriptions of the proposed solution. She steers the preparation of a tender safely to the finish line with a focus on involving relevant resources of the bidder, ensuring the best possible evaluation of the bidder during the contest.

Majse Jarlov conducts cases before the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement and the ordinary courts, making her an experienced representative of both procurers and unsuccessful bidders.

In addition, Majse Jarlov is an experienced lecturer and regularly gives tailor-made lectures and holds workshops for businesses or procurers.

Majse Jarlov is solution-oriented, and due to her many years of experience, she quickly narrows the issues, focusing on the specific elements of the procurement process that present challenges. She also uses her overview to rapidly and efficiently assess whether the dissatisfaction of an unsuccessful bidder is grounds for raising an objection and a complaint with the prospect of achieving a positive outcome for the complainant.
