Laura Hyang Kroer Madsen appointed as acting high court judge at the Western High Court
04.04.25
Senior Associate Laura Hyang Kroer Madsen has been appointed as an acting judge at the Western High Court for a three-month period in the autumn of 2025.
An acting appointment as a High Court judge is a temporary position granted to legal professionals with exceptional professional and personal qualifications. It is therefore a significant recognition of Laura’s legal expertise and solid experience with complex disputes.
Laura is part of Skau Reipurth’s Construction and Procurement Law team, where she advises both private and public developers, contractors, and technical consultants. She assists in arbitration proceedings, expert determinations, settlement negotiations and court cases – particularly within the field of construction law.
Christian B. Prophet-Rannow, Attorney, Partner in Skau Reipurth’s Construction and Procurement Law department, says:
We are both proud and delighted on Laura’s behalf. The appointment is well-deserved and reflects her level of legal expertise, strong judgement and deep commitment.
The appointment appears in the official announcement from the Judicial Appointments Council (March 2025), which can be accessed here.
