Skau Reipurth has assisted Väderstad with the acquisition of a product range from Thyregod A/S

Swedish-owned Väderstad acquires the inter-row crop cultivation product range from the Danish company Thyregod A/S.

Väderstad develops efficient agricultural machinery that makes everyday life easier for farmers and is one of the world’s leading companies in tillage and seeding. Since the 1960s, the company has specialised in developing tillage methods and produces seed drills, cultivators, harrows and rollers to suit different climate zones around the world.

Thyregod A/S has been producing and servicing primarily agricultural machinery since 1918 and over the years the company has developed into a strong player in the market with customers all over the world.

With the acquisition of the new product range, Väderstad strengthens its product portfolio with a complete programme for mechanical row cleaning of row crops for future sustainable and efficient farming. The spring of 2023 will be a transition period and Väderstad will take over the responsibility for the inter-row cultivator business on June 1st.

Skau Reipurth has provided legal assistance to Väderstad throughout the process, including due diligence, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents as well as execution of the deal.
