Kristian Boisen Andersen

Kristian Boisen Andersen primarily advises on construction law and procurement law and has extensive experience in these areas.

He has specialised and extensive experience in assisting stakeholders in the building and construction industry and industrial/production companies in handling conflicts and disputes. Kristian’s competences span a wide range of legal advice, including in regard to obtaining evidence (expert appraisal procedure), arbitration and litigation, negotiations, claims management, etc.

Kristian also has experience in advising on commercial contracts – and with his specialised industry insight, he advices on negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts, including turnkey contracts, main contracts, consultancy agreements and supplier agreements.

In line with the challenges related to bankruptcies, fluctuating material and energy prices, etc. in the building and construction industry, Kristian has also handled the derivative legal issues that arise in this context. Among other things, he advises on handling distressed stakeholders, collateral/guarantees, bankruptcies, force majeure, termination of contracts and claims for indexation and compensation for extraordinary price increases.

Kristian also has experience in advising on procurement law issues for various stakeholders in the procurement process. He assists in connection with complaints to the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement and civil litigation before the courts.

Additionally, Kristian also advises companies on their obligations under the health and safety legislation. This includes, in particular, advising companies in the building and construction sector and manufacturing/industrial companies. He therefore represents companies as defense attorney in the legal proceedings regarding infringements of the health and safety legislation.
